I can't say how much I really love Laila's new speech therapist. I love, love, love her. And funny thing is we keep running into the old one :( Oh well, what's a Mom to do. This week they finally got into a craft! Laila made a bunny rabbit, but she commented on how he didn't have any arms. I told her that he didn't need any. Laila did an awesome job sitting and listening and answering the questions correctly. I was really proud. Halfway through the session she had to go potty so we were interrupted. Her therapist does a good job of keeping her engaged, she did a "hide and go seek" with some of the items, and asked Laila to place them above, behind, under, below, and on top of things in the room. Great way to teach positions. I'm hoping we get to keep her even after our break in services, or maybe this year we won't have a break !
Wonderful thing that she is doing good and you found a therapist you love ...thats awesome!! I will be possibly looking for a behavioral therapist soon for Fifi ...hopefully i can be as lucky to find a good one :)

Erica- it's trial and error, just know that you can speak up for your kid or change therapists if you need to, you want the best for her, and sometimes you might be the only one that wants the best for her, so don't give up.
